I plan to retire in Spain in a few years and teach English for 5 years before collecting Social Security. Does anyone have experience with this? How involved is the process? Any help would be appreciated.

I found a job posting as an English Language Consultant for this company on the Teaching House website - however I can't find anything about it online. It seems a little too good to be true, which is making me cautious. Anyone know anything about this company or this position? Here's the link to the job description from their website: http://www.azoreglobal.com/#!join/ctaf

Hi-

I've been given a rather attractive job offer teaching IELTS in Quang Ninh, Vietnam, (respectable school, good pay, good hours), but have heard mixed reviews of the city. Some of my Vietnamese students here in the U.S. have suggested that it's a run-down, crime-ridden place ... ? I had the sense that their opinions could be due to prejudice (they're from the south and well-to-do) ...

I got a job offer from BKC-IH Moscow, which is part of the International House organization, so I thought it would be good. However, searching around the internet I've found lots of negative things about the school. But the latest I could find was from 2012, and I was wondering if anyone has worked there or knows anyone who has worked there more recently?
Hey all,

My husband has the opportunity through his university to potentially study in Dublin for 6 months-1 year next year. I would love to go with him and workas a teacher while I am there. I have a European passport, the CELTA (Pass Grade A) and have been working in Brazil for a year teaching. Does anyone have a list of good schools to work for/recruiters who work in this area? The school directory on this site isn't working.

Thanks for the help!
Raquel

Hi everyone,

I'm just curious, what teaching jobs would one qualify for in the U.S. with just a CELTA? I guess private language schools are a given, but what about community colleges and other colleges and universities? Must one get a masters for those jobs or does it depend on the employer? Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks :)
