Another local p/t ESOL position, just FYI:

Evening ESOL Teacher Needed in Watertown

Project Literacy, a program of the Watertown Free Public Library, is looking for an energetic, creative teacher for our beginner level class. We are a community-based program that offers adult ESOL classes two nights a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) from September to the end of May.

Responsibilities: Prepare and teach lessons that actively engage adult students in English language learning at the beginner level. Work with other staff members on program/teaching issues. Participate in staff meetings and in-service workshops. Complete required recordkeeping.

Qualifications: B.S./B.A., MA in ESOL or related field preferred. Experience using a learner-centered approach, preferably with adult immigrants in a community-based setting.

Hourly Rate: $23.50/hr for 5 hours teaching and 2 hours preparation per week, plus once-a-month meetings. Class time is 6:30 – 9PM, Tuesdays & Thursdays

Position Begins: September, 2015
