Learning Teaching is a perfect resource for the LSRT assignment :)
Point well taken. I enjoy designing the worksheets (tweaking fonts, positioning content & visuals), but I am probably making it more complicated than it needs to be. I'll simplify that, which will free up more time to focus on actual content. Thanks.
It's not that there are templates for worksheets because these vary from lesson to lesson and group to group. You need to be able to show you can develop good materials for your classes which is a criteria point. A template is simply an established document where you can insert your information. Not sure why you're tweaking word documents. Simply see what's in the book, use that as a base and then create your own. No need to make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Those are good ideas for reading tasks. That helps, thanks Annie!
If anyone comes across any good templates for worksheets, please do let me know. I'm spending way too much time tweaking word docx!
Not so much templates, but the book "Learning Teaching" by Scrivener has a pretty good list of ideas for each kind of receptive skill. For example, page 188 has a list of ideas for reading tasks. Hope that helps :)
Has anyone come across a good website for exercise templates?
