Conferences and jobs

Jeff, couldn't find where you'd posted the comment that I received in an email, so thought I'd start this and see if it works. One time when I thought I had started a group discussion, it apparently was Teaching House-wide and got a response to my question from some stranger! Anyway, I haven't seen any conferences other than the one you mention. I just got back to TN yesterday, and now have to get my house ready to sell or rent before I can look for jobs. Still thinking of Southeast Asia or Eastern Europe, though I've started expanding my possibilities to other areas too. Meantime, I'll be brushing up my resume and going through years of accumulated stuff so when I DO get a job, I'll be ready to go!!!

Like you, I took a week off. Played in San Diego, then visited Caron's brother. Just got home on Monday. I am not sure how stuff gets posted on the site. Anytime I have responded to someone it kinda' disappears. Individuals get the post, but that is all, nothing on the site.
I am now an official member of TESOL. I am trying to go to the conf in New Orleans. Gotta become a member and register for the conference if you want to go to the Job Fair. I hope to fly in on March 16 or 17.

Jeff - looks like this one made it to the site! Good for you to become a member - that's on my list of things to do in the next week or so. I am going to be working at the hospital two days a week starting in a couple of weeks - something to tide me over until I'm outta here. Have fun and good luck at the job fair in New Orleans!! Definitely keep in touch and let us know how it is.
