A Pre-Intermediate level textbook: Natural English. Not on the shelves at the center. Could be used as a resource/companion for those of you starting with the Pre-Ints this week. A nice textbook. Here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6s45WWdJGrcdThtMnZkN2hOeTA...
An A-Z of ELT is an encyclopedia of ELT terms and concepts. Find it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6s45WWdJGrcam9DNF9hdllBNlE/view?u...
That's an excellent site, and Kimberly's favorite. Here's a handy list of (mostly) common, useful idiomatic phrases for reference/use. Good clear definitions.

Hi all,
Here are the "CELTA Support" videos I mentioned and showed a bit this afternoon: http://elttraining.mdl2.com/course/view.php?id=11
Apologies for confusing you by saying I'd posted them previously; obviously not!
I hope you find them useful. I think they can *help* bridge at least a bit of the gap between your contact time here and the materials presented and your life at home, trying to recall what we said and did!
(Who says the part-time course is easier!?!?!?) :)
Thanks for trooping through the afternoon with me today, I know Saturdays can be looooong for you. I'll try to post a few things here which might serve to back up the two sessions I did a bit. I did lose track of a few semi-important things while acting a bit too much like Philip...
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to introduce this way of communicating to the group (I see there are only 9 members of the group so far...so we're waiting on a handful. Those who are here, help me remind folks to respond to that email and make their way here if you please!).
Good for general Qs to the group at large, etc.
I tend to post up a few announcements, random-ish course related stuff, and then later...after the CELTA...I bother you to check in and tell everyone what you're up to ;)
Good luck with all your TP1s! Dip those toes!
Remember: just keep it simple, focus on your classroom management basics...introduce yourself...anchor...give some clear instructions, etc...erm don't fall over and hit your head...and see you on the other side! :D
