Welcome, C2 Part-Time CELTA Trainees at Teaching House Boston, to your group page on myteachinghouse.com!

This 'comment wall' is yours to use to communicate amongst yourselves, mostly. I will keep an eye on it and also be posting on the wall occasionally as well: sharing supplementary and follow-up materials for some input sessions and other helpful links, etc.

When anyone posts here the site automatically generates an email for each member of the group. It will quote at least the first bit of whatever was posted within the email and provide a link to come here to view the entire message. This is probably how you came across this very message.

Thus, once we're all signed up it can be a reliable medium through which to communicate openly with the entire group - or with specific people if and when doing so openly might be beneficial to the group anyway.

I'm the trainer who generally keeps an eye on this space and uses it to post things myself. I see it as a useful 'supplemental virtual space' which we can use alongside our face-to-face interactions. Especially for the younger generations taking the CELTA, this can actually make the course feel MORE 'real' as so much of life takes place online these days. ;)

So...whenever you're ready, do feel free to simply (re)introduce yourself here and see if/how it works for you. Here's a couple of question prompts that might serve as fodder:

1. What was your #1 takeaway from your first Saturday of input sessions?
2. What specific questions do you have that another trainee might be able to help answer here?
3. Just how excited are you for your TP1 20-minute lesson on Thursday? ;)
4. Whatever else...

The point is just to try it out, get the wall going....
