Reminders re: Saturday

1. We'll be doing some jobs & resume talk, so if you have a resume that you'd like to have looked at (by trainers and/or colleagues) for advice, bring it on in. Even if it's older and hasn't been updated for ELT. Maybe ESPECIALLY if that's true, yeah?

2. We need all portfolios to contain all materials. That's

- CELTA 5 all filled out (we'll complete that together in class)
- All original TP lesson plans w/ FB, grades, and signatures
- All assignments

So if you have any late resubs you MUST bring them in for Saturday or they automatically fail.

Congrats on making it (nearly!) through the epic CELTA journey. Good look with your TP9s....

Jane, if you don't have the audio material with you right now for your planning, simply read the tapescript at the back of the book and hear the track in your mind and get on with what needs doing. Do you *need* the tracks themselves at this point in your planning process? Look at what you actually need to do for

1. LP backpage probs/solutions
2. staging & procedure planning
3. vocab LA sheet
4. Lesson's worksheets/handouts

^ none of those things require you to have the tracks.

...and come in if you can for some extra help.

Matt - thanks for scanning the page. I do have the page you and I made notes on, so I'm all set this weekend. I'll probably pick up the book on Tuesday. Was there anything stuck in it that I don't remember? You're there until 7:00?! Ok, I won't ask. Jane

Jane, I think you left your textbook here? I'll be here until 7pm or so (don't ask)...otherwise it'll be here come Monday morning when we open at 8:30am. In case you can't get it, I've attached a scan of your page to this message. I guess you do have that photocopy you made today as well, with the notes etc. on it! Maybe you left the rest of the book behind as dead weight on this spring evening! ;)

I might be out in left field (which I know I am anyway), but what's the situation with the CDs that go with the Pre-Intermed. books? Do any of you guys who just switched from teaching the PI have a CD or 2? I just texted Ben to see where he and Nancy got their recordings for last night's lessons, but I thought I'd shoot a message out to you guys in the meantime. I don't have time to record all the reading in my lesson myself before Tuesday. Thanks.

That is correct. The LRT is due this week on the night you come back for your TP classes with the new level.
