Share more about yourself.: I am 24 years old and I grew up in New Jersey. I have a lot of passions, some of them including scuba diving, playing with dogs, French, traveling, and teaching. Over the past six months, I worked as an English Language Assistant in 3 primary schools in France. I learned so much from working with different teachers (with different approaches) and from teaching young children with very little knowledge of English. As a side note, I was so moved by the joy and enthusiasm that children can bring to a classroom. I am very much looking forward to this CELTA Course because I hope to enrich my ways to effectively teach students of different levels my native language. I want to learn more about creating engaging lesson plans that will make learning exciting for English language students! From learning French, I understand how hard it frustrating it can be to learn a language and also the difficulty to integrate with a culture. I hope to become a more patient, experienced, and knowledgable English teacher outside of the US.
