My very first English students

Yeah, really. Some young monks not pictured, but a motley mix of monks, orphans, orphan monks, adult monks, and hangers-on. They're sitting on a 300 year-old stupa. Our classroom was a shed on the monastery grounds, where cattle would roam through during lessons. They definitely learned the English for cow. ;)
