Coming to Teaching House is the combination of several influences/interests: after almost 13 years of living in DC I decided that I needed to shake things up and try to find out what I want to do "when I grow up"; I studied abroad during undergrad and have wanted to live overseas again for a while; and one of the favorite aspects of previous jobs was doing trainings and presentation. All of that together equals the chance to challenge myself and broaden my horizons. I am also very interested in learning Arabic and in refreshing my French skills (hence my interest in the Middle East/North Africa).
