Since October 2017, I've volunteered at an English language program at TasTAFE aimed to assist migrants and refugees to Tasmania. This was such an eye-opening experience that I've decided to become a teacher and help students to enjoy learning English and open up new opportunities in an increasingly globalizing world. I have no real classroom teaching experience yet, but I hope that CELTA and the experience given me by CELTA training staff, CELTA friends and other advice will help me to become a knowledgeable, patient, passionate, kind and hopefully not boring teacher.
