I've hoped to work as an English teacher for several years. I spent most of 2011 in northeast Japan doing volunteer work with an organization called All Hands Volunteers and stayed on after their project ended to learn traditional Japanese carpentry by way of helping a local carpenter rebuild his house. I came back to the States in order to finish my BA. I hope to teach abroad in Japan after completing the CELTA course. I like to read, draw, and build things.
