I am a second-year Master of Education in the university of Melbourne. Before coming to Melbourne, I worked as an English language teacher and a consultant in Beijing

Getting CELTA and DELTA is important for my professional development. I am passionate about being an educator. That's why I returned to the university to learn pedagogy and theories.

I experienced the tough time in the transition process. Academic English is quite different from English language tests. When I have adapted to the Australian academic culture, I realise that I should do something to support international students. Then I began to research in the filed of international student transition from last August. In the summer vocation, it was my first time to teach academic English online, which enabled me to pass my own knowledge to the students. I should keep learning and improving myself.
