Hi, Derek DeVelder, here. My wife, Lynn, and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and are both symphony/opera musicians. I play the double bass and she is a harpist as well as a social worker. I also assist international refugees who have been resettled in Phoenix, Arizona, and Albuquerque. Many of them need help with English, the foundation of employment, empowerment, and citizenship. I wanted to be able to offer more, so I turned to the Teaching House and the University of Cambridge CELTA course for training.
