Hi, I'm Hilary, and I'm from the U.S. (I've lived in Florida, Arizona, Texas, and New York). After getting degrees in language-related fields, I decided to go to fashion school (fashion merchandising/business). I graduated from FIT (the Fashion Institute of Technology). It was fun, but I realized that I think I would really like teaching ESOL, which is why I'm entering the CELTA course. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone!

That's actually what I thought would happen! I knew you'd try to 'get' the functions, but since we haven't had an input on it yet and since Vocab is listed first, anyway, we can call that the main aim, so, good on you for trying! ;-) That article sounds interesting and probably is suited for the Uppers...make sure to run it by Sharon. Length and a lot of new vocab will probably be what she'll be looking out for.
Hey! I've been thinking about your lesson. How do you feel? Have you decided - Main Aim: Vocabulary or Functions? It's up to you based on how you're reading it. You have a discriminate eye ;-) After looking at the plan, are you comfortable with it? Send a message if you have any questions and also, I'm in early tomorrow. Have fun with it, Jackie
