Share more about yourself.: I am from Minneapolis, MN. I graduated from University of Minnesota School of Nursing with a BSN degree in 2011. I also minored in Sociology. Prior to nursing I wanted to be a social activist, but switched majors because I did not think I would be able to find work with sociology upon graduation. I have been teaching English to new comers to the state of Minnesota for a few months and that experience has made me want to further my career in teaching because I really enjoyed teaching and being with my students. They brought so much joy into my life. I still want to practice nursing, but for the short term I would like to work somewhere in the Middle East as an ESL teacher.
Hobbies: In my spare time, I like to take long interrupted walks, eat out, work out at the gym and shop for healthy food. I love shopping for food more than anything else because it gives me purpose and makes me feel good about what I am doing which is generally making a good investment in my health as I only consume organic. I love reading and enjoy learning new things. I hope to learn as much as possible this up coming four weeks.
