I grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and have always loved languages and teaching. A longtime educator in New York City, I have been a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and writing workshop facilitator at senior centers. Now I look forward to my CELTA training and to teaching English as a second language. I love travel, reading, hiking, and the arts.
