I received my Ph.D. in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from Texas A&M University, USA. I am a part-time lecturer at the University of Reading and the University of Winchester. I love both teaching and research. My primary research interests include both naturalistic and tutorial computer assisted language learning (CALL). My current research focuses on the psycholinguistic and sociocultural processes underlying second language learning and socialization in the multi-lingual and multi-cultural contexts of massively multiplayer online (role-playing) games (MMORPGs).
