My name is Nico; I'm fairly young and new to teaching. Recently, I finished my undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at UCSC, also known as the home of the banana slugs. Now that I have free time, I cheer for the Dodgers, play a bit of basketball, listen to harmonica blues and study the Thai language. In September, I look forward to learn the art of teaching and to meet new people.

That is awesome....I love learning other languages. Other than English and Thai, do you know any other languages? I have been to one Dodger game at their stadium, because they were playing the Angels.
It definitely looks like i will be seeing you in LA. I loved the Middle East, but at the time that i went, my travel was limited in the country of Jordan because i went right after all the uprisings. so no i have not seen the beaches in Tel Aviv, but would love to see them when i get a chance to go back to the Middle East. The Thai language? is it hard to learn? when you say cheer for the Dodgers, do you mean like when you watch them on TV or like at the actual games?
