I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in international politics. Law school was the next logical step for me. However, after I spent my last semester of college studying in Montepulciano, Italy, I knew I needed to find a different career path. I moved to Asia and taught English for 2.5 years (1 year in Suwon, South Korea; 9 months in Tokyo, Japan; and 9 months in Yongin, South Korea). I returned to the US in 2012 to be home for the birth of my nephew. I am now ready to continue my life as an expat and career as a professional ESL educator.
My hobbies include tennis, dancing (classical, modern, contemporary, and lyrical hiphop), studying languages (have attempted to learn 10 languages over the years), learning about wine, and playing music (I play the french horn, trumpet, and alto sax among others).
I am really excited to take the CELTA course and boost my confidence level as a teacher before heading overseas for the next phase of my journey.
