I am recently back from abroad and I am taking the intensive CELTA certification course in January. Afterwards I will be seeking work as an ESL teacher in the Boston area.

Awesome blog! Thanks for sharing it here. I noticed about you'll be looking for work in Boston. Have a look at this page of one of my own (somewhat unfresh, underloved at the moment) blogs for examples of Boston-area public program ESOL work: https://celtatrainer.wordpress.com/local-esol-jobs-for-celta-trainees-graduates/ There isn't much full time work in these programs - local private language schools are better for that - but they can be great in tandem or as extra work on top of hours at a private center, etc. Most of all, they're very rewarding as you teach folks who can't afford to pay for places like IH and Boston Language Institute, etc.
