I am 37 years old and I have taught ESL in both Chicago, IL and the Republic of Korea. I think teaching ESL is both rewarding and challenging work with generally motivated students and affords a lifestyle of travel and discovery that is rare among professions. While I have experience as an ESL teacher, I still feel that my skills could be refreshed and improved upon, and a CELTA certification seems the best way to achieve that.
