I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University, in the U.S, and I am really looking forward to attending the CELTA course starting on May 2nd. Since I received a degree in Chinese, I am very interested in learning to teach English to Chinese learners. I am hopeful after taking this course that I will be able to find a job that will allow me to accomplish this goal.
I will be taking the CELTA course in London, back in my home country the U.K. I feel this will give me a chance to reacclimate to England after living overseas for so long. There is also the added benefit of being able to see family before and after the course.
Teaching will be a completely new experience for me, so I am looking forward to the challenges that will arise while on this course. I also have to add, since I have had no prior teaching experiences, that I feel quite nervous. I will enjoy meeting other CELTA Trainee's and finding out how they feel, and what experiences if any, they have had with teaching.

Ryan, sorry to say I also haven't seen your glasses but I will certainly let you know if I do.
