CELTA is a natural next step for me as I move from working as a freelance nature writer. I have worked as a journalist, a teacher, an artist in the schools, a radio DJ, an art school model, a legal secretary and a gardener.
I'm a life-long student currently studying mycology with Gary Lincoff, author of the AUDUBON FIELD GUIDE TO NORTH AMERICAN MUSHROOMS. I'm also a wild foods forager, a student of primitive technology and a voracious reader of both fiction and nonfiction.
Once I complete this CELTA course and have a chance to apply my skills, I hope to be able to live and work as a CELTA instructor in Canada (most likely Ontario) in 2012.
Sorry, I meant whatever trainer you're with now, so if it's Abby, please talk to her after feedback this morning and she will help you sort it. Robert and i aren't working with those books or cds - different levels... thanks!
Don't worry, JJ. You don't teach until Tuesday, right? Robert will help you get the cd sorted tomorrow. I can't help you because I don't have those coursebooks for my level. In the meantime, you can ask a colleague if they have a cd for you. Also, when the cds get copied, sometimes, the tracks don't match up. Meaning, the text you're looking for may be on there, you just have to scan fast forward to it. Have a good night!
