I have just received an invitation to serve in Peace Corp Uganda and leave November 2nd, 2017 teaching Literacy. This will be my first time to Africa. Currently, I work with inmates at the San Quentin California State prison in the Reentry Program and Prison to Employment program. Prior to that, I was a 34d/4th grade multi subject teacher. I have two daughters; one lives in Myanmar working on Peace Policy and my other daughter starts at University of Vermont in the fall.
