Share more about yourself.: I am a person of religious belief. (I believe that words, such as the word 'love', have some meaning.) I am very interested in human rights and in the development and continuance of civilizational values. I am thus a very strong advocate of human rights. I am (lamentably) a fan of American football and spend (sadly) far over 100 hours every fall and winter watching professional football. I am a person of very progressive political ideas and values. I am an advocate of nonviolence and also a child advocate. I believe deeply in education.

Am I supposed to welcome the others in our ten-week class? It seems that, since I am the one joining, I should be the one being "welcomed". Can anyone help me understand this. I do understand English very well. Am I supposed to welcome my classmates?
